Dart

In this popular game, two players - male or female - take turns to throw three arrow at a curcilar board. The target area is divided into a total of 62 sections, each of which counts a different number of points whe a dart sticks in it. The object is toscore from 501 to 0 in fewer throws than the opponent, with the last dart hitting one of the sections that scores double points or, less commonly, the bullseye. The game is manily about accurate aim and steel nerves, but it is also about mathematics. The players need to be able to work out how best to reach the target score
